I am not sure how you can be a photographer and not be thrilled by lines and shapes. Like with all the photographs, some hit, some miss, but it's in the enjoyment of trying.
Yes, shapes and lines are interesting. But my favorite is #6. Of course I'm a sucker for any kind of bird, but just adding the element of a living person/thing always kicks it up a few notches for me. While I might appreciate a beautiful landscape and seascape, the addition of something even as small as a bird automatically increases my interest level.
