Some very nice photos, Gary! My favorites are the first 2. Love the treatment of the old truck in b&w. Also, I have to say I don't think I've ever seen a photo of an alligator that I liked until this one. LOVE the textures, composition, etc. Just fantastic!
Jan, thank you. I generally am ambivalent about going to Brazos Bend, just not a nature photographer. But I have discovered that the pier at the very first turn off is an excellent place for getting right on top of the alligators. Outside of years ago being able to show Janet her first Painted Bunting there, Brazos Bend has pretty much been a wash out for me until discovering the pier. We were going from BB to Galveston and not far from the park I saw the pickup. Made Alcy turn around and go back for the photos.
