About Town

Alcy is taking a Nikon class tomorrow night and wanted to locate the venue so we started out at the zoo. No wise cracks, it is going to be at the George R Brown  Education Building which is at the zoo. Went to the Japanese Garden, photographed the Sam Houston Memorial and stopped in the Natural Science Museum for a cold one before heading downtown. Rode Metro up to the overlook at the Univ of Houston Downtown, then back down to Preston were we walked over to the Chase Tower and went up to the observation deck. Then we descended into the tunnel system to find a very late lunch. Most everything closed at 2:30pm but Whataburger was still serving. Metroed back to Hermann Park to call it a day. Lots and lots of walking for an old man.

Worked on Lines, Dead Things and most of the usual "projects."
