A Full Day

Debi photographing from the 60th floor observation deck of the J P Morgan Chase Building
Had an interesting day today. Debi Beauregard has a few days off and we had been talking about photographing the interior of the Co-Cathedral in downtown Houston. We decided to do it. We metroed in and met at Main Street Square. Debi mentioned the observation deck in the Chase building and I had never been there, always intended to go but never did, so we decided to do that first. Since Debi had never been and it had been years since I had been in the tunnel we decided to take the tunnel system to the Chase.

We photographed from the observation deck, did the inside of the Co-Cathedral then headed south to the art museums for lunch at the Fine Arts. It was a very, very full day and I came home with a few photographs that I like. Debi does a lot of HDR so I am interested in seeing what she has come up with.

Debi and the Raschenbergs

After visiting the art museums in Fort Worth going to the Houston Fine Arts Museum is the pits. They act like they are afraid that you might accidently enjoy yourself and they can't stand that. We made one very, very brief run between doors and then headed to the Contemporary Arts where you are actually allowed to take photographs.

Don't know what it is but I didn't get yelled at for photographing it which is an improvement.
After the art museums we walked down to the Natural Science and came out to impending rain
