Samsung Sunday

Okay, today I broke out the manual for the Samsung and read six or seven pages—I’m just not good with manuals. The important thing is that now I know how to set the ISO and white balance plus a couple of other things.

I know that I fall in love at least six times a week, but I do love the Samsung—it’s not basic but it’s not DSLR either and that puts a whole new or different slant on how I am using it. And yes, before I post any of the photos from today—most people who look at this blog are going to want to regurgitate when they see them. It’s okay, I admit it, I’m just mentally ill, demented—always have been, always will be.

But I shot a photograph of me today that I like almost as much as the photograph I shot of myself in the bathroom back in 1973. And please do not ask me why I like either of these photographs; I just do. To me it doesn’t matter. It is sufficient to say I do.

I get so tired of looking at most of my photographs—they are just so ordinary. What’s worse, they could have been regurgitated (hey I like that word) from the camera of any amateur photographer on the planet.

Okay, enough of the build up; I know you just can't wait--here’s the photos.

  1. Gary... you're photos are anything but ordinary. I feel the same about mine. We probably all do to some degree. Like you said in one of your other posts, we all see things differently. You're images may not be out of the ordinary to you but to someone else they are a surprise to the eyes and pleasing to look at. scottA
