Immanuel Lutheran, Weiderville, Texas

After Via Colori, Alcy and I drove up north of Brenham to check out four of the Lighted Churches. We made the trip about a month ago during the day in anticipation of setting a photoshoot up for NWHPC. Of the six churches I had eliminated three, the two in Independence and Bethlehem Lutheran in William Penn. That left the three closest churches.

We arrived at Immanuel Lutheran shortly before sunset. Beautiful small church but as you can see the sun sets well to the south of the church. The lights in the windows are reflection not the interior lights. The biggest problem is all the trees directly in front of the building. We drove on to check out the other churches and came back after dark but the lights were not on. I think we can eliminate Immanuel Lutheran as a possibility.
