A Trip: Paul's Saab and Pickups

This is another conceptual photograph. I will have to be truthful, the idea emanated from Paul. He had stopped in Burkburnett before we met in Wichita Falls. He mentioned that he had done what he thought was the ultimate “Texas” photograph in Burk, a lineup of pickup trucks. So I stole the idea and tried on a number of occasions to get a photo of Paul’s Saab parked in a row of pickups. I thought I had the photograph I wanted in Eastland when he pulled into this group of three bright red pickups. Unfortunately by the time I got across the street the black sedan pulled in beside the Saab. I went ahead and took the photograph even though I was disappointed. We had a similar situation at Fort Griffin but again before I could get the photo one of the pickups moved. I just thought it would be the definitive “I visited Texas” photograph.

CORRECTION: This photograph is miss titled. It was taken in San Saba, not Eastland.
