Tomball's Farmer's Market

Jerry Klumpp called on Friday and asked if I would like to go with him, Darnell and Larry Belt to the Farmer’s Market in Tomball for a photoshoot. It was short notice but Jerry and I decided to set it up as a meet up for the Northwest Houston Photo Club. I was surprised by we ended up with I think nine photographers. This is the best thing about having the meet up as a part of the camera club. We can set up spur of the moment or impromptu photoshoots. Some of the older club members don't like the idea of having on-line, non-paying members so they refuse to participate but those that do take advantage of the opportunities seem to like it.

We didn’t do much shooting at the market, at least I didn’t. It was extremely hot so we quickly changed plans to the antique stores. I always enjoy antique stores, especially if I can find a “theme.” There were lots of toys so I pretty much continued my freaky toy theme that I started at Texas Antique Center last month.
