St Mary's Catholic Church, High Hill, Texas

The second church that we photographed was St Mary's in High Hill, Texas. Currently this is the only photograph that I have processed. I will be adding more to the thread later.

This first photograph is an HDR created from a single frame. There was a window just out side the frame on the right so the lighting was very good. Alcy was shooting the piece and I simply did a shot just to check exposure. The shot was underexposed but the window contained pretty good color so I decided to see if I could create a couple of lighter exposures from the single frame and combine them as HDR. I had to clone Alcy out of the lower left corner. Okay, I'm not suppose to tell things like that; I'll blow my image.

I was disappointed with many of the over all shots in all the churches because the windows are totally blown. I think there may be one or two of the churches where I did over all shots using a tripod. It is possible that I may be able to find brackets to combine as HDR images. But right now I have a lot of photographs to process and I need to catch up. I have another photoshoot tomorrow morning a meeting Sunday evening and Alcy is talking about going back to the Painted Churches Wednesday--old people are not suppose to move this much. We do wear out you know.
