Attended an outstanding photowalk today and came away with almost no photographs. It was a guided tour of Allen's Landing and the north end of downtown by the Historical Preservation Society. I learned a lot about the early history of Houston and found a number of things that I will go back and shoot when there is more time and less people. I shot maybe thirty photographs and of those I only had two that I thought were worth keeping, both textures. I get laughed at because I shoot more photographs of sidewalks in downtown than I do buildings or people. These are textures on the support columns for the Franklin Street Bridge over Buffalo Bayou.
