Monday Sam and I stopped at a Denny's in Brookshire, the first one that I had seen since leaving Houston Saturday morning. I took in the map I bought in Schulenburg to see where I might conveniently go besides Houston. It looked like I was going to get there for the afternoon rush hour. Couldn't find anything exciting so I plowed into I-10 at 5 o'clock. Just made darn sure I stayed off of Airline.
