Samsung

I have been stumbling over the Samsung for almost two years now and have not really figured out how it works. It is very frustrating because the setting options are different depending upon which shooting mode you have selected. Why can’t a point and shoot just be simple like a Nikon D700?

I really enjoy using it—yeah, it’s noisy when you set it on 1600 ISO, but who cares. I put up with film grain for fifty years, I can live with noise. Truthfully the perfectly smooth digital gnaws at my artistic sensibilities most of the time. Anyway, I decided to tote the P&S yesterday but I took the D700 for a backup in case I got too frustrated. Came home with at least a couple that I liked. Really think I should use the Samsung more.

Should I reshoot my entire Table for One portfolio. I've got a couple of weeks before I have to have it completed.

  1. You're definitely using a lower angle shooting with the Samsung. Not as hard to get down! LOL!

  2. I was in hopes it would not be that obvious. LOL
