Forensic Evidence Project

My garage project is winding down—well, I think it is. At the present I have sixty-three individual photographs of containers. Some of the individual shots have been combined for the 16x20 prints so there is a total of twenty-nine 16x20’s. Now the quandary is, do I print all twenty-nine or do I edit down to fifteen or so. Financially, editing down has its advantages because thirty prints mounted (I plan on having the poster printed also) is over seven hundred dollars. But I really hate to remove any of the prints. I may just have them printed ten or so at a time and spread out the cost since I have until October to complete the project.

The “I think it is” is because I have not yet opened the storage closet. I am guessing that there is close to a dozen photos waiting there, at least a dozen. I have got to draw the line somewhere and I am having a difficult time doing that. I am still seeing the project as autobiographical and just what part do you cut out of a biography? I hate to think what will happen if I decide to tackle the studio—yet both the storage closet and the studio are a part of the story. Then to top it off I am working on the book where I am not combining photos—one to a page—that’s another seventy bucks right now, possibly eight-five when it is finished.

Maybe I should not get excited about projects!!!! Heck, it’s only money and I haven’t had this much fun in a long time.
