Follow Up on Previous BO Approval Post

I know this is not a political blog but sometimes I just love it so much that I simply cannot resist.

Real Clear Politics has just published the results of ten different polls on BO’s First Year Job Approval.

What caught my attention was the CBS News Poll which shows Approve 49% Disapprove 41% or plus 8 points for approval. I am assuming this is one of the CBS’s scientific polls they mentioned at the end of their un-scientific on-line poll discussed below which incidentally showed a 63% Disapproval.

This sure seems to confirm my suspicions that by “scientific” CBS means skewed, fabricated—or at least highly manipulated.

CBS News polled everyone without regard to whether or not they were even registered to vote, much less likely to vote.

Of the ten poll results shown, five of the pollsters, like CBS, made no distinction between the totally uninformed and the ones that might actually participate in the political process. All five of those polls showed a positive on the Approval side from +1 to CBS’s +8 (the next higher poll was +5).

One of the pollsters polled only Likely Voters and shows a Disapproval of -6.

Four of the pollsters polled only Registered Voters and all are in the Disapproval column from -1 to -6.

So it appears for the poll to be “scientific” CBS canvases the least likely to be informed of anything other than the next handout of taxpayer money that BO is promising—in other words the ones that CBS can be assured have had their daily dose of the kool aid.

I have not watched CBS since the Dan Blather/Bush Texas National Guard fiasco. Don’t look like I will change that anytime in the near future. The greatest feature to ever be installed on a television set was the line in the menu that lets you block the major stupidity channels.
