Went on my first photoshoot with the Woodlands Meet Up. However, we somehow got lost. Everyone, I thought, was supposed to meet at the Montgomery County Library. We went there and waited around for over a half hour without seeing anyone. We moved over to Waterway Square and shot quite a while before we ran into anyone from the group. I got a few photographs of lights, nothing spectacular. Then I switched to shooting out of focus and enjoyed it much more.
I had just received a video light that I wanted to try out. Wasn't impressed but I did a couple of photos of Alcy using it on camera. Really got it to use off camera but I was already carrying a tripod and didn't want to carry a light stand in addition.
And of course I couldn't resist turning some of the out of focus shots into extreme manipulations.
