The Alamo, San Antonio, Texas

Since photography is not allowed inside the Alamo we only shot on the grounds and in the area. The front was in shadow in the morning which means the sky would be completely blown out and very uninteresting so I did not take any shots of the front. Everyone knows what the front of the Alamo looks like.

We did walk around the grounds and it took a large number of photographs of details, many more than are posted here. Alcy and Debi both wished to exclude the tourists from their photographs. I took a different approach. I looked for people to include in the shots to add a human interest as well as scale. Just two different approaches.
